Chu Ming-yang (褚冥漾, Chǔ Míngyàng) is the main protagonist of The Unique Legend
Appearance[]
Chu Ming-yang has short black hair and black eyes. According to his words, his looks is extremely average.
Personality[]
Due to being extremely unlucky for his whole life, Chu Ming-yang suffers from low self-esteem and has little to no friends. Even though he had a very rough childhood, he is kind to the people around him.
His never-ending inner monologue and wild imagination is the main source of hilarity in the story. Though never daring to say it out loud, he gives many characters nicknames and calls them by those nickname in his mind. Unfortunately, his overactive mind often draws the anger of Ice Flame, since his academy guide can hear everything, leading to Ming-yang to getting slap upside the head.
When he first entered the Sealed world, Ming-yang suffers from extreme culture shock due to the terrifying differences between the Original world and the Sealed world. He is timid and easily spooked by everything in the academy and the Sealed World in general. He feels a bit out of place and prefers to bury his head in the sand when facing all the shocks. But as the story went on, he grew to care for his friends and began to actively get involve in many events to protect them.
later in the story, he develops a slightly bolder and more wicked personality due to the backlash of his exposure to ancient magic rites. But despite his changes, he is still kind-hearted and determined to protect those he holds dear.
In season 3, he can talk back to beings with power much greater than him without fear, ex: an evil God, and Chifuyutoshi's father, who is the current head of the Yukino clan.
